An LSU game-day checklist: what to check before you leave

A practical LSU fan checklist for kickoff, tickets, parking and stadium policies.

Start with the matchup

Confirm the opponent, venue and kickoff on LSU’s official schedule. A calendar entry saved weeks ago is a reminder, not a final source. If a kickoff is still marked TBD, plan around that uncertainty rather than treating a midnight timestamp as an announced game time.

Plan the trip separately from the game

Check the official parking and traffic guidance for your specific event. Decide where you will park, how your group will meet and what your return route will be. An away-game schedule entry does not use the same arrival plan as a Saturday in Baton Rouge.

Check tickets and permitted items before departure

Open the official ticket information before reaching the stadium. Review the current stadium and bag policies for the venue you are visiting; do not assume an item accepted at another stadium will be accepted at Tiger Stadium. Pack only what you need, and check the official accessibility information if anyone in your group needs assistance.

Use a short final check

Before leaving, check kickoff, venue, tickets, parking and current stadium policies in that order. Keep the official guidance accessible on your phone. TigerWire’s schedule is a convenient starting point, while LSU’s event information remains the place to confirm logistics.
